Mais il est attach\u00e9 principalement \u00e0 la figure du Christ&nbsp;; si certains saints ont \u00e9t\u00e9 repr\u00e9sent\u00e9s avec, celui du Christ a pu devenir un objet sacr\u00e9, par exemple \u00e0 c\u00f4t\u00e9 du manteau de la Vierge \u00e0 la cath\u00e9drale d\u2019Aix-la-Chapelle.<br>(ci-contre : Anonyme, <em>La Crucifixion de Villars Les Moines<\/em>, Milieu du XIe)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>On le voit partout, mais on l\u2019ignore par pruderie, on n\u00e9glige son importance dans l\u2019histoire de l\u2019art. Il est bien un v\u00e9ritable point aveugle. En passant du bronze au papier, il avait voulu donner sa vision d\u2019incroyant&nbsp;: un fait, l\u2019instant du passage de la vie \u00e0 la mort. Son travail sur le p\u00e9rizonium concernait surtout la corde qui se d\u00e9fait \u00e0 ce moment et en constitue un symbole. Mais elle n\u2019avait trouv\u00e9 que peu de r\u00e9f\u00e9rences. Aussi, durant la p\u00e9riode du Covid, elle s\u2019est plong\u00e9e dans le sujet par les catalogues, puis par des visites dans les mus\u00e9es europ\u00e9ens, les galeries ou les antiquaires. Sa d\u00e9marche tient de l\u2019histoire de l\u2019art, mais va bien au-del\u00e0&nbsp;: elle a fait une \u0153uvre sur les \u0153uvres, qui provoque l\u2019\u00e9motion, le r\u00e9sultat allant plus loin que le proc\u00e9d\u00e9. En effet, elle a utilis\u00e9 la technique du cadrage, qui est bien plus que celle de l\u2019extrait, sur le p\u00e9rizonium dans son enti\u00e8ret\u00e9, en ne pr\u00e9sentant pas son hors-champs qui, lui, n\u2019est autre que toute l\u2019\u0153uvre du peintre ou du sculpteur. Le p\u00e9rizonium, \u00e0 moiti\u00e9 transparent, entoure avec d\u00e9licatesse ses hanches, qui apparaissent tr\u00e8s f\u00e9minines, de m\u00eame que le ventre, l\u00e9g\u00e8rement arrondi. Peintres et sculpteurs tentent par cons\u00e9quent de conjuguer la figuration d\u2019un Christ sexu\u00e9 selon le principe de g\u00e9n\u00e9ration humaine, avec celle d\u2019un corps spiritualis\u00e9 dont la puissance f\u00e9condante n\u2019est pas sexuelle. D\u00e8s lors transparences et glissements de linges, vers lesquels convergent mains et regards, se font d\u00e9monstrations de virtuosit\u00e9 combinant repr\u00e9sentations naturalistes et enjeux symboliques. Car dans cette rh\u00e9torique du d\u00e9voilement, le voile n\u2019existe que par ce qu\u2019il cache \u2013 non seulement cette partie intime de l\u2019anatomie du Christ, mais aussi le myst\u00e8re du Verbe incarn\u00e9 \u2013, cristallisant le projet d\u2019une image con\u00e7ue pour s\u2019effacer devant la m\u00e9ditation qu\u2019elle suscite. \u00c0 mi-chemin entre vision et r\u00e9v\u00e9lation, la toile du peintre, la peau et le linge de pudeur captent le regard pour s\u2019interposer entre le visible et l\u2019irrepr\u00e9sentable. D\u00e8s lors, par son incompl\u00e9tude m\u00eame, la nudit\u00e9 du Christ peut manifester l\u2019au-del\u00e0, conform\u00e9ment aux myst\u00e8res des \u00c9critures remplis de \u00ab v\u00e9rit\u00e9s cach\u00e9es sous les ombres \u00bb (cf. Daniel 2, 22).
