S\u2019il peut r\u00e9sonner avec le temps pr\u00e9sent \u00e0 l\u2019aune des drames \u00e0 Gaza et d\u2019ailleurs, ce n\u2019est ni son sujet, ni son objet. La chronique de Jean Deuz\u00e8mes<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-drop-cap\">Alors que l\u2019on peut \u00eatre s\u00e9duit par l\u2019installation po\u00e9tique <a href=\"https:\/\/saintmerry-hors-les-murs.com\/2025\/07\/25\/celeste-boursier-mougenot-clinamen\/\">Clinamen<\/a> au sein de la Rotonde de la Bourse de Commerce, le ton change dans l\u2019exposition \u00ab&nbsp;Corps et \u00e2mes&nbsp;\u00bb de la Fondation Pinault, qui se veut plus grave car elle traite de la pr\u00e9gnance du corps dans la pens\u00e9e contemporaine. Il y a r\u00e9guli\u00e8rement du religieux dans les \u0153uvres collectionn\u00e9es. N\u2019est-ce pas lui qui a command\u00e9 \u00e0 Vincent Gicquel <a href=\"https:\/\/saintmerry-hors-les-murs.com\/2024\/04\/14\/vincent-gicquel-quatorze-esquisses-pour-une-humanite-souffrante\/\">un chemin de croix <\/a>pour la petite chapelle de son enfance, soutenu Pol Taburet, dont on a pu voir en 2024 la <a href=\"https:\/\/saintmerry-hors-les-murs.com\/2024\/05\/29\/pol-taburet-une-representation-creole-de-la-crucifixion\/\">repr\u00e9sentation cr\u00e9ole de la crucifixion,<\/a> pour la Nuit Blanche \u00e0 Saint-Eustache ? Il a aussi lanc\u00e9 puis acc\u00e9l\u00e9r\u00e9 la carri\u00e8re de <a href=\"https:\/\/focus.telerama.fr\/2024\/12\/18\/0\/0\/6000\/4000\/1200\/0\/60\/0\/a3b9286_1734538812960-000-36qn6kh.jpg\">Claire Tabouret<\/a>, choisie pour r\u00e9aliser les nouveaux vitraux de Notre-Dame. Les \u0153uvres pr\u00e9sent\u00e9es cet \u00e9t\u00e9 n\u2019entendent pas montrer des formes nouvelles ou nourrir les d\u00e9bats sur la repr\u00e9sentation, mais \u00ab&nbsp;capturer des forces et rendre visible ce qui est enfoui, invisible, \u00e9clairer les ombres [\u2026] L\u2019art se saisit des \u00e9nergies et des flux vitaux de la pens\u00e9e et de la vie int\u00e9rieure, pour inviter \u00e0 une exp\u00e9rience engag\u00e9e et humaniste de l\u2019alt\u00e9rit\u00e9.&nbsp;\u00bb Emma Lavigne (<em>Catalogue Corps et \u00e2mes<\/em>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-vimeo wp-block-embed-vimeo wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<div class=\"jetpack-video-wrapper\"><iframe title=\"Georg Baselitz. L\u2019artiste allemand voulait \u00e9viter un face-\u00e0-face frontal, dans une contemplation \u00e0 distance, et souhaitait que le visiteur fasse l\u2019exp\u00e9rience d\u2019entrer dans son \u0153uvre. Aussi a-t-il choisi de les accrocher en deux arcs de cercle en vis-\u00e0-vis d\u00e9cal\u00e9s, produisant par l\u00e0 une sorte de huit-clos dramatique. Toutefois, il n\u2019en est rien. Ce sont des autoportraits que l\u2019artiste a r\u00e9alis\u00e9s \u00e0 76 ans, au sommet de son art, alors qu\u2019il \u00e9tait confront\u00e9 \u00e0 des difficult\u00e9s physiques&nbsp;; il peint agenouill\u00e9 par terre ou courb\u00e9 et pense ses tableaux \u00e0 l\u2019envers<a href=\"#_ftn1\" id=\"_ftnref1\">[1]<\/a>. L\u2019\u0153uvre apparait ainsi comme une profonde m\u00e9ditation sur la d\u00e9t\u00e9rioration du corps et son vieillissement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>L\u2019artiste ne sugg\u00e8re pas une chute de l\u2019homme (un th\u00e8me fr\u00e9quent en peinture) ou un corps renvers\u00e9 par la vie. Ce ne sont pas des corps soumis \u00e0 la gravit\u00e9 terrestre, mais des figures r\u00e9v\u00e9l\u00e9es par le travail du pinceau, malmen\u00e9es et bafou\u00e9es.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Le titre \u00ab\u00a0Avignon\u00a0\u00bb fait r\u00e9f\u00e9rence \u00e0 l\u2019exposition que Picasso fit en 1970 \u00e0 Avignon, \u00e0 89 ans, et qui fut tr\u00e8s mal accueillie.Ce dernier ne parlait que de ses obsessions sexuelles et de la d\u00e9t\u00e9rioration de son corps, souvent dans un style expressionniste violent, jug\u00e9 par certains comme r\u00e9gressif. Cette \u0153uvre de Georg Baselitz peut \u00eatre ainsi lue comme une confrontation avec celle du peintre catalan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>L\u2019artiste allemand revendique aussi s\u2019inspirer de <a href=\"https:\/\/museeduluxembourg.fr\/fr\/collection\/objet\/autoportrait\">Cranach<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/url?sa=i&amp;url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.guggenheim-bilbao.eus%2Ffr%2Fapprenez%2Funivers-scolaire%2Fguides-educateurs%2Fautoportrait-en-tirant-la-paupiere-vers-le-bas-1910&amp;psig=AOvVaw0mhgb5zIZGhZ1qj524Vzl2&amp;ust=1754257280139000&amp;source=images&amp;cd=vfe&amp;opi=89978449&amp;ved=0CBUQjRxqFwoTCMCM_OuL7Y4DFQAAAAAdAAAAABAE\">Schiele<\/a> ou <a href=\"https:\/\/www.connaissancedesarts.com\/wp-content\/thumbnails\/uploads\/2022\/10\/cda22_web_main_munch_autoportrait_cigarette-tt-width-1280-height-720-fill-1-crop-0-bgcolor-ffffff.webp\">Munch<\/a>. Dans un dialogue critique avec les grands ma\u00eetres du pass\u00e9, Georg Baselitz d\u00e9passe l\u2019affrontement \u00e0 la mort. C&rsquo;est une m\u00e9taphore du malaise autour du vieillissement artistique.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Fran\u00e7ois Pinault a acquis les huit toiles imm\u00e9diatement. Chaque peinture a un titre renvoyant \u00e0 une pens\u00e9e sur l\u2019art ou \u00e0 un \u00e9tat personnel de l\u2019artiste, qui nous \u00e9chappe&nbsp;:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Ne tombe pas du mur (ce qui signifie \u00ab&nbsp;Tient le coup&nbsp;\u00bb, adress\u00e9 \u00e0 sa figure)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>On ne peut pas \u00eatre et avoir \u00e9t\u00e9<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Aucun Pape n\u2019est Avignon<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Imit\u00e9, appuy\u00e9, tout ensemble (?)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Oh la honte (?)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Le Pape est dans Rome<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Il n\u2019y a pas d\u2019ombre (en effet le corps est \u00e0 plat sur la toile noire)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Avignon Dada d\u00e9shabill\u00e9<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>L\u2019expressionnisme violent et primitif, qui se refl\u00e8te au travers de coul\u00e9es \u00e9paisses, emp\u00e2tements, surfaces stri\u00e9es, est m\u00eal\u00e9 \u00e0 la fragmentation des figures. Les autres \u0153uvres de <a href=\"https:\/\/www.centrepompidou.fr\/fr\/programme\/agenda\/evenement\/RqzdcSS\">la r\u00e9trospective de 2022 <\/a>du Centre Pompidou ont parfois \u00e9t\u00e9 plus loin.
